The 23rd Computational Neurology Club Seminar, APR 9

Computational neuroscience is a research field that studies the brain and mind using mathematical approaches. Computational psychiatry included in this field deals with psychiatric conditions such as schizophrenia.

On the other hand, the computational approach to neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s one, and diseases belonging to neurology such as epilepsy and stroke, is still not fully developed.

This workshop aims to survey interest in this field in Japan and build a strong community through meetings held every two months. Students and researchers are welcome to participate.
